There are three things what makes a tie ugly. First, a tie can be ugly if it is made of weird material like a tie made of wool. It looks as if it’s been hand-crocheted. Beside that, the knot is so thick and it looks like some malignant tumor growing on the guy’s neck. But, ties should be made of smooth material because it will look neat if it is wore by someone. Second, a tie can be ugly if it has weird design, such as: monalisa ,huge broccoli, cabbage heads and bananas printed all over it and showing parts of women’s anatomy or santa claus and Mrs.claus. The last is the wrong color of the ties. It will make ties more ugly. For example, an elegant silk tie with simple stripes or squares in subdued but rich colors. Beside that, the designer ties are worst of all to combine orange bubbles with hot pink squares or dark brown stripes with neon blue rectangles. Finally, weird material, bad design and wrong color can make ties ugly.
